We tried relentlessly to work with the DC USAO to acknowledge that the investigation conducted into Patrick’s death in 2011 was a rush to judgment, incomplete and dishonest.

Here is the OIG Complaint that we filed September 2019.

The MPD determined that Patrick’s case was a crime and asked the USAO to reconsider prosecution in a May 17, 2017 letter.

The MPD concluded Patrick’s death was a crime and that Ward was the only one who believed it was defense of another. Even Giblin, the person Ward claimed to have defended, did not support Ward’s story.
